00CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 18(STA) 01 "An Act making appropriations for grants to the Municipality of Anchorage for 02 renovations and additions to West Anchorage High School and Romig Junior High 03 School; and providing for an effective date." 04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 05 * Section 1. The sum of $25,896,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the school 06 construction grant fund (AS 14.11.005) for payment by the Department of Education as a 07 grant subject to AS 14.11.017(a) to the Municipality of Anchorage for renovation and addition 08 to West Anchorage High School. 09 * Sec. 2. The sum of $9,050,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the school 10 construction grant fund (AS 14.11.005) for payment by the Department of Education as a 11 grant subject to AS 14.11.017(a) to the Municipality of Anchorage for renovation and addition 12 to Romig Junior High School. 13 * Sec. 3. The appropriations made by this Act are for capital projects and lapse under 14 AS 37.25.020.
