00SENATE BILL NO. 18                                                                                                      
01 "An Act making an appropriation for a grant to the Municipality of Anchorage                                            
02 for renovation and addition to West Anchorage High School; and providing for                                            
03 an effective date."                                                                                                     
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1.  The sum of $25,896,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the school                             
06 construction grant fund (AS 14.11.005) for payment by the Department of Education as a                                  
07 grant subject to AS 14.11.017(a) to the Municipality of Anchorage for renovation and addition                           
08 to West Anchorage High School.                                                                                          
09    * Sec. 2.  The appropriation made by this Act is for a capital project and lapses under                              
10 AS 37.25.020.                                                                                                           
11    * Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect July 1, 1993.
