00HOUSE BILL NO. 457 01 "An Act making appropriations to satisfy the monetary terms of certain collective 02 bargaining agreements for certain public safety employees under an arbitrator's 03 decision; and providing for an effective date." 04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 05 * Section 1. The sum of $860,000 is appropriated to the Department of Transportation and 06 Public Facilities, international airports, to satisfy the monetary terms of the collective 07 bargaining agreement with the Public Safety Employees Association for the period January 1, 08 1992 through June 30, 1994, from the following sources: 09 General fund $ 10,000 10 International Airports Revenue Fund 850,000 11 * Sec. 2. The sum of $600,000 is appropriated from the International Airports Revenue 12 Fund (AS 37.15.430) to the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, international 13 airports, to satisfy the monetary terms of the collective bargaining agreement with the Public 14 Safety Employees Association for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1995.

01 * Sec. 3. The sum of $4,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Department 02 of Public Safety to satisfy the monetary terms of the collective bargaining agreement with the 03 Public Safety Employees Association for the period January 1, 1992 through June 30, 1994. 04 * Sec. 4. The sum of $2,595,000 is appropriated to the Department of Public Safety to 05 satisfy the monetary terms of the collective bargaining agreement with the Public Safety 06 Employees Association for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1995, from the following sources: 07 Federal receipts $ 39,000 08 General fund match 7,000 09 General fund 2,500,000 10 General fund/program receipts 20,000 11 Inter-agency receipts 26,000 12 Inter-agency receipts/oil and hazardous 13 substance release response fund 3,000 14 * Sec. 5. The unexpended and unobligated balances of the appropriations made by secs. 15 1 and 3 of this Act lapse into the funds from which they were appropriated, June 30, 1994. 16 * Sec. 6. The unexpended and unobligated balances of the appropriations made by secs. 17 2 and 4 of this Act lapse into the funds from which they were appropriated, June 30, 1995. 18 * Sec. 7. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
