01 "An Act making appropriations from the constitutional budget reserve fund under                                         
02 art. IX, sec. 17(c) of the Alaska Constitution for construction and major                                               
03 maintenance of schools; and providing for an effective date."                                                           
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1.  The sum of $109,441,663 is appropriated from the constitutional budget                                 
06 reserve fund under art IX, sec. 17(c), Constitution of the State of Alaska to the school                                
07 construction grant fund (AS 14.11.005).                                                                                 
08    * Sec. 2.  The sum of $41,819,937 is appropriated from the constitutional budget reserve                             
09 fund under art. IX, sec. 17(c), Constitution of the State of Alaska to the major maintenance                            
10 grant fund (AS 14.11.007).                                                                                              
11    * Sec. 3.  The appropriations made by this Act are for capital projects and are subject to                           
12 AS 37.25.020.                                                                                                           
13    * Sec. 4.  Sections 1 and 3 of this Act take effect July 1, 1993.                                                    
14    * Sec. 5.  Section 2 of this Act takes effect on the effective date of an Act passed by the                          

01 Eighteenth Alaska State Legislature and enacted into law creating a major maintenance grant                             
02 fund in AS 14.11.
