01 "An Act establishing March 30 of each year as Katie Hurley Day."                                                        
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 44.12 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                  
04 Sec. 44.12.143. Katie Hurley Day. Katie Hurley Day is established on                                                
05 March 30 of each year to honor Katie Hurley. Katie Hurley Day may be observed at                                        
06 school assemblies and by suitable observances and exercises by civic groups and the                                     
07       public.
