01 "An Act establishing the month of April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month."                                             
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 44.12 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                  
04 Sec. 44.12.162. Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The month of April each                                               
05 year is established as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Sexual Assault Awareness                                         
06 Month may be observed by schools, community groups, and other public and private                                        
07 agencies and individuals with appropriate activities that increase the public's                                         
08       awareness of sexual assault.
