01 "An Act relating to the appropriation of alcoholic beverage excise tax proceeds for                                     
02 community assistance; and providing for an effective date."                                                             
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 43.60.050 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                        
05            (d)  The legislature may appropriate money from the tax collected under                                      
06       AS 43.60.010 but not deposited in the fund under (a) of this section for the purpose of                           
07       community assistance under AS 29.60.850 - 29.60.879.                                                              
08    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect July 1, 2019.
