00 HOUSE BILL NO. 371 01 "An Act relating to the special sessions of the Alaska State Legislature." 02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 03  * Section 1. AS 24.05.100(b) is amended to read: 04 (b) A special session may be held at any location in the state. If a special 05 session called under (a)(1) of this section is to be convened at a location other than at 06 the capital, the governor shall designate the location in the proclamation. If a special 07 session called under (a)(2) of this section is to be convened at a location other than at 08 the capital, the presiding officers shall agree to and designate the location in the poll 09 conducted of the members of both houses. A special session called under (a)(2) of  10 this section within 90 days after the adjournment of a regular session may not be  11 designated or convened in the capital.
