01 "An Act establishing June 27 of each year as Post-Traumatic Stress Injury Awareness                                     
02 Day."                                                                                                                   
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 44.12 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                  
05 Sec. 44.12.150. Post-Traumatic Stress Injury Awareness Day. Post-                                                     
06 Traumatic Stress Injury Awareness Day is established on June 27 of each year to                                         
07 promote awareness of the people suffering from post-traumatic stress injury and to                                      
08 encourage people to reach out to their fellow citizens to provide support and eliminate                                 
09 the stigma associated with this injury. Post-Traumatic Stress Injury Awareness Day                                      
10       may be observed by suitable observances and exercises by civic groups and the public.
