01 "An Act relating to manufacturing from natural gas products and limiting the                                            
02 production tax applicable to certain natural gas produced from a lease or property in                                   
03 the state and used for an end product that is manufactured in the state."                                               
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section                          
06 to read:                                                                                                                
07       SHORT TITLE. This Act may be known as the Alaska Manufacturing Incentive Act.                                     
08    * Sec. 2. AS 43.55.900(24) is amended to read:                                                                     
09                 (24)  "used in the state" means delivered for consumption as fuel in the                                
10       state, including as fuel consumed to generate electricity, or used by a person as raw                         
11       material for creating an end product that is manufactured in the state.
