01 "An Act increasing the base student allocation for public schools; and providing for an

03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 14.17.470 is amended to read:                                                                      
05            Sec. 14.17.470. Base student allocation. The base student allocation is $5,805                         
06       [$5,680].                                                                                                         
07    * Sec. 2. AS 14.17.470, as amended by sec. 1 of this Act, is amended to read:                                      
08            Sec. 14.17.470. Base student allocation. The base student allocation is $5,930                         
09       [$5,805].                                                                                                         
10    * Sec. 3. AS 14.17.470, as amended by sec. 2 of this Act, is amended to read:                                      
11            Sec. 14.17.470. Base student allocation. The base student allocation is $6,055                         
12       [$5,930].                                                                                                         
13    * Sec. 4. Section 1 of this Act takes effect July 1, 2012.                                                         
14    * Sec. 5. Section 2 of this Act takes effect July 1, 2013.
