00 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 28 01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State 02 Legislature, concerning Senate Bill No. 220, relating to energy efficiency, energy 03 conservation, and alternative energy, to an emerging energy technology fund, to the 04 lease of state land to a public electric utility, to the Alaska heating assistance program, 05 to state energy use data, to the Southeast energy fund, to nuclear energy production and 06 facilities, to the definition of 'power project' or 'project' as it relates to rural and 07 statewide energy programs and the Alaska Energy Authority, and to the definition of 08 'alternative energy system'; establishing an Alaska energy efficiency revolving loan 09 fund; directing the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to prepare a 10 report on the feasibility of using compressed natural gas to power vehicles in the state, 11 including vehicles owned or operated by the state, and including in that study, if 12 warranted, a pilot program proposal for powering some vehicles owned or operated by 13 the state with compressed natural gas; authorizing and relating to the issuance of bonds 01 by the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation; and relating to a report regarding a 02 municipal energy improvements financing program and to an energy report by the 03 Office of the Governor. 04 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 05 That under Rule 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the provisions of 06 Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, regarding 07 changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of Senate Bill No. 220, relating to 08 energy efficiency, energy conservation, and alternative energy, to an emerging energy 09 technology fund, to the lease of state land to a public electric utility, to the Alaska heating 10 assistance program, to state energy use data, to the Southeast energy fund, to nuclear energy 11 production and facilities, to the definition of 'power project' or 'project' as it relates to rural 12 and statewide energy programs and the Alaska Energy Authority, and to the definition of 13 'alternative energy system'; establishing an Alaska energy efficiency revolving loan fund; 14 directing the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to prepare a report on the 15 feasibility of using compressed natural gas to power vehicles in the state, including vehicles 16 owned or operated by the state, and including in that study, if warranted, a pilot program 17 proposal for powering some vehicles owned or operated by the state with compressed natural 18 gas; authorizing and relating to the issuance of bonds by the Alaska Housing Finance 19 Corporation; and relating to a report regarding a municipal energy improvements financing 20 program and to an energy report by the Office of the Governor.
