00                   HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 7 am                                                                  
01 Relating to awarding the Alaska Decoration of Honor to certain members of the                                           
02 military.                                                                                                               
03 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
04       WHEREAS the Alaska Decoration of Honor was established in AS 26.05.342 to                                       
05 honor individuals who were killed in action on or after the date Alaska achieved statehood                              
06 while serving in the Alaska National Guard, the United States military reserves, or the regular                         
07 United States armed forces and who were residents of the state or stationed in the state; and                           
08       WHEREAS Donald V. Clark, Christian P. Humphreys, Cody J. Eggleston, Heath K.                                    
09 Pickard, Jason A. Karella, Donald Harold Binek, Roy Chichenoff, Edward Demoski, Paul                                    
10 Harris, Samuel D. Inghram, John Baptist Lockwood, Walter L. McLeod Jr., Joe Rogers Jr.,                                 
11 Adler Earl Ruddell, John Taylor Thomas, John Byron Whitson Jr., Victor J. Zapata, and                                   
12 Daniel R. Sexton meet the criteria for award of the Alaska Decoration of Honor;                                         
13       BE IT RESOLVED by the Alaska State Legislature that the Alaska Decoration of                                    
14 Honor is awarded to Donald V. Clark, Christian P. Humphreys, Cody J. Eggleston, Heath K.                                
15 Pickard, Jason A. Karella, Donald Harold Binek, Roy Chichenoff, Edward Demoski, Paul
