01 "An Act repealing certain provisions relating to applications for medical assistance                                    
02 coverage; making certain provisions of ch. 96, SLA 2006, retroactive; providing for an                                  
03 effective date by repealing an effective date section in ch. 96, SLA 2006; providing for an                             
04 effective date for certain sections of ch. 96, SLA 2006; and providing for an effective                                 
05 date."                                                                                                                  
06 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
07    * Section 1.  AS 47.07.020(j), 47.07.020(k), and 47.07.020(n), enacted in sec. 7, ch. 96,                          
08 SLA 2006, are repealed.                                                                                                 
09    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
10 read:                                                                                                                   
11       RETROACTIVITY. (a) Section 6, ch. 96, SLA 2006, and AS 47.07.020(l) and (m),                                      
12 enacted in sec. 7, ch. 96, SLA 2006, are retroactive to October 1, 2006.                                                
13       (b)  Section 11, ch. 96, SLA 2006, is retroactive to March 2, 2007.                                               
01    * Sec. 3. Section 16, ch. 96, SLA 2006, is repealed.                                                               
02    * Sec. 4. Sections 2 - 7 and 9 - 11, ch. 96, SLA 2006, take effect immediately under                               
03 AS 01.10.070(c).                                                                                                      
04    * Sec. 5. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
