01 "An Act providing that an institution providing accommodations exempt from the                                          
02 provisions of the Uniform Residential Landlord and Tenant Act may evict tenants                                         
03 without resorting to court proceedings under AS 09.45.060 - 09.45.160."                                                 
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1.  AS 09.45.070 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                          
06            (c)  Nothing in AS 09.45.060 - 09.45.160 shall be interpreted to require an                                  
07       institution providing a residence that is exempted by AS 34.03.330(b)(1) from the                                 
08       provisions of AS 34.03 to institute a court action to recover possession of that                                  
09       residence.
