01 "An Act relating to seasonal alcoholic beverage licenses; and providing for an effective                                
02 date."                                                                                                                  
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 04.11.080 is amended by adding a new paragraph to read:                                           
05                 (21)  seasonal hunting or fishing lodge license.                                                        
06    * Sec. 2.  AS 04.11 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                    
07            Sec. 04.11.225. Seasonal hunting or fishing lodge license.  (a)  A seasonal                                
08       hunting or fishing lodge license authorizes the holder to sell alcoholic beverages to a                           
09       registered overnight guest of the lodge.  The license may not allow the holder to sell                            
10       alcoholic beverages for a period greater than six months of a calendar year.                                      
11            (b)  The biennial fee for a seasonal hunting or fishing lodge license is $1,250.                             
12            (c)  In this section, "seasonal hunting or fishing lodge" means a resort facility                            
13       that provides lodging, food, and outdoor hunting or fishing guiding services to its                               
14       registered overnight guests and that is not directly accessible by automobile.
