01 "An Act exempting contracts of the Alaska Natural Gas Development Authority from                                        
02 the State Procurement Code; and providing for an effective date."                                                       
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 36.30.850(b) is amended by adding a new paragraph to read:                                        
05                 (44)  contracts of the Alaska Natural Gas Development Authority.                                        
06    * Sec. 2.  AS 41.41 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                    
07            Sec. 41.41.910.  Exemption from State Procurement Code.  AS 36.30 (State                                   
08       Procurement Code) does not apply to contracts of the authority.                                                   
09    * Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
