00 HOUSE BILL NO. 372                                                                                                      
01 "An Act relating to liquor licenses issued to a restaurant or eating place; and                                         
02 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 04.11.360(9) is amended to read:                                                                    
05   (9)  the license was issued under AS 04.11.400(g) [AS 04.11.100(f) OR                                              
06 04.11.400(g)]; or                                                                                                       
07    * Sec. 2.  AS 04.11.100(f) is repealed.                                                                              
08    * Sec. 3.  TRANSITION.  A restaurant or eating place license issued under AS 04.11.100(f)                            
09 before the effective date of sec. 2 of this Act shall expire on January 1, 1997, may not be                             
10 transferred to another person, and may only be renewed if the licensee meets the requirements                           
11 of AS 04.11.100, as amended by sec. 2 of this Act, and other applicable provisions of law.                              
12    * Sec. 4.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
